At each major rough-in milestone, an iLevel team member walks the home with a 360-degree scanning camera. Every room, every closet, every basement and attic space gets captured. The scans stitch together into a navigable virtual tour, similar to a real-estate walkthrough but with the framing, wiring, plumbing, and mechanical systems fully exposed. Typical capture points: post-framing, post-electrical rough-in, post-plumbing rough-in, post-mechanical rough-in. Locations are tagged and the project manager adds notes, so the scan reads like a guided tour of your build at that exact week.

What is 3D Vista?
3D Vista is the platform iLevel uses to capture and host the progress-scan walkthroughs. A 360-degree camera and the floor plan produce a navigable virtual tour of the home at that moment in the build. You open it with a browser link. No special software is needed.
When during the build do the scans happen?
At every major rough-in milestone, before drywall closes the walls. Typical scans: post-framing, post-electrical rough-in, post-plumbing rough-in, post-mechanical rough-in. The complete scan set is delivered to you at project closeout.
Is this an upsell or included in every iLevel build?
Included in every iLevel custom home, no extra charge. We treat the scans as part of the deliverable, not an option. The long-term value to the owner is too high and the marginal cost too low for it to make sense any other way.
Can I share the scans with future contractors or buyers?
Yes, and we encourage it. The scan set delivered at closeout is yours. Hand it to a renovating contractor planning a rough-in, a buyer’s inspector, an insurance adjuster after a leak, or an electrician adding a circuit. It was captured to serve the home for its whole life, not just the build.
How is this different from the VR walkthrough?
The VR walkthrough shows the designed home before construction, generated from the Chief Architect model. The progress scans capture the real home during construction, room by room, with the framing and systems exposed. One is the promise, the other is the proof.
