Custom Home Builders in Crook County, Wyoming
Distinguished & refined.
Crook County is rural, and the build conditions reflect that. Long driveways. Off-grid water. Wind exposure. Snow load. Subcontractor travel. We plan for all of it before we sign a construction contract.
Most of our Crook County clients are not from Crook County. They come from all around the country wanting a builder who can run the project without their daily presence. Our process is built for that. Documented. Transparent. Visible from anywhere.

See our process
From design to move-in, we guide you through every step of building your custom luxury home with complete transparency and efficiency.
I've watched a lot of homes get built in this valley.
Most of them didn't go the way they should have.
The custom home market is full of companies that can technically build a two-million-dollar home. Most of them shouldn’t. Their systems were built for speed and volume, which is another way of saying they were built for sloppy work. A luxury home does not tolerate that. The finishes show every shortcut. The framing carries every compromise forward. Twenty years later, the homeowner is still living with decisions a production builder made on a Tuesday.
iLevel is built for one thing. High-end custom homes. Our systems, our subcontractor relationships, our preconstruction process, and our documentation standards are all optimized for that work and nothing else. We do not run a volume operation on the side.
The same standard applies to who we put on your job site. We hire craftsmen who come to the table with talent, not just a tool belt. There is a difference, and it shows up in every joint, every transition, every detail you will look at for the next thirty years.
So why work with us?
Quality Craftsmanship
A custom home, or luxury home comes with exceptional details. You simply can’t work with someone optimized to build fast, easy and cheap. We build luxury homes everyday of the year. Quality above all else.
Efficient project management
Everyone can say it, but few can pull it off. We built out systems to handle luxury homes from the ground up. Built on first-hand experience over decades of construction work.
Connected to the community
Most of us have grown up here. That means knowing the community, the subcontractor’s reputations and being able to coordinate with the most reliable people you’ll come to meet.

You've got questions.
How many homes does iLevel have going at once?
We intentionally keep our workload controlled so every client receives the attention they deserve. Typically, we have 4–7 homes in active construction at one time, depending on the phase of each project. Some homes may be just starting excavation, while others are in the framing or finishing stages.
This balance allows us to maintain quality, communication, and proper oversight on every project.
How often does the project manager visit the jobsite?
Our project manager is involved multiple times per week, and sometimes daily, depending on the phase of construction.
Certain stages, such as foundations, framing, mechanical rough-ins, and finishing work, require closer supervision. We stay closely connected with our subcontractors throughout the process to make sure everything stays on schedule and is built correctly.
How often can I visit the jobsite?
You’re welcome to visit the jobsite anytime with coordination.
We simply ask that visits are scheduled with us so we can ensure safety and avoid interrupting subcontractors while they’re actively working. Many clients like to visit during key milestones, such as framing completion, mechanical rough-ins, drywall, and finishing.
What insurance coverage does iLevel carry?
iLevel carries Builder’s Risk insurance on every project, which helps protect the structure during the course of construction. Your home is scheduled under our policy based on the project’s contract value, and that coverage stays in place until the project is completed and your homeowner’s insurance takes over.
Builder’s Risk typically helps protect against covered losses such as:
• Fire
• Storm damage
• Theft
• Vandalism
• Jobsite damage during construction
What about Builder’s Risk insurance required by the bank?
Many lenders require the homeowner to carry a Builder’s Risk policy as well.
In our experience, this creates dual coverage, which is a good thing. If something unforeseen were to happen during construction, having two policies in place provides additional protection for the project.
How do you keep homeowners informed throughout the process?
Communication is a big part of the iLevel experience.
We keep homeowners informed through several methods, including:
• Daily logs through our project management software, typically at least 1–2 per week, often more
• Jobsite photos
• Phone calls and Zoom meetings
• 3D scans of the home during construction, especially helpful for out-of-state clients
The goal is to keep you connected to the project, even when you’re not physically on site.
What is the communication process during the build?
Communication happens consistently throughout the build, with updates happening weekly or as needed, depending on the stage of construction.
Some weeks involve more discussion when selections or decisions are required, while other weeks are simply progress updates.
We are in love with the finished product!
“We started our SD building adventure in October 2024. Jason with iLevel Construction has been absolutely amazing to work with and we could not be happier with how it all came together!
After spending 6 days in SD putting the cabin together….late nights, early mornings, several trips to Rapid City and City Hall in Lead, many trial and error shenanigans and every muscle in our body aches but….Whiskey Bent Hideaway is complete, we didn’t kill each other and we are in love with the finished product!
“Jason Pedersen seriously…you have been awesome! Your attention to detail, your ideas, your honesty, and your communication have made this build very smooth especially from afar! And your crew is awesome too….helping us out with some things in the house! I have worked with several builders as a Realtor for clients and this is personally our 2nd build and you have far exceeded all of them! Can you please come build in ND?”
