Back in 1919, planning began for the largest bridge history had ever seen. It took 14 years before any bolts, cables or beams were installed. When done right, every part of the install works like clockwork. This means everyone down to the workers can focus entirely on doing their tasks the best they can.
In my time as an engineer, we were told projects live and die on the planning table. If something is not clearly communicated, errors compound fast. Custom homes demand precision, planning and coordination to ensure everyone building can bring their best work to the table.
Without pre-construction planning, timelines are stressed, deliveries come late, people are unfocused rushing through work, and mistakes happen as a result. We set out to eliminate that entirely.
iLevel developed preconstruction to ensure the planning can handle the high demands of custom home building. Learning from our forefathers, iLevel is building a better way.
iLevel Construction is built on processes and efficiency to break through the chaos of custom home builds, and bring to you a truly enjoyable home building experience.

By ensuring we understand your end vision and the architects design. Fully planning before hand, we find saves drastically on time.
When we plan first at a vision level to lock in what you want to achieve out of each space. Proactively working through details and planning the decision gaps.
Our aim is to truly invest into your dream and everything at the heart level first. With completely confidence in your builder, we protect your budget, time and design to the last line.
Take a walk through one of our completed projects to get a preview of what walking into your new home will feel like.
We get to know you, your dream and establish the vision you have for the space. Not every detail needs to be decided all at once. But you should feel we understand what you are looking to get out of your home.
Building gets messy. Often leading to bloated budgets due to short sighted planning. We help first holistically outline the budget evenly to ensure no space is left out of balance.
With vision and budget, we can begin to sketch out the timeline of events clearly allowing you to plan your life and proactively tackling hard decisions before orders, installs and factors come into play.
Materials are endless. Combined with your architect and interior designer we work to build out a material list we can rely on and ensure to set proactive deadlines on material selection gaps.
We ensure all of this comes together into clear communicated documents to be communicated to sub contractors and specialists.
This is where you see everything on a single flow. Each vendor, sub project assigned and dated in the timeline. Your own tasks and decision tree is communicated to help you effortlessly stay on top of your decision without missing a beat.
We intentionally keep our workload controlled so every client receives the attention they deserve. Typically we have 4–7 homes in active construction at one time, depending on the phase of each project. Some homes may be just starting excavation while others are in framing or finishing stages.
This balance allows us to maintain quality, communication, and proper oversight on every project.
Our project manager is involved multiple times per week, and sometimes daily depending on the phase of construction.
Certain stages such as foundations, framing, mechanical rough-ins, and finishing work require closer supervision. We stay closely connected with our subcontractors throughout the process to make sure everything stays on schedule and built correctly.
You’re welcome to visit the jobsite anytime with coordination.
We simply ask that visits are scheduled with us so we can ensure safety and avoid interrupting subcontractors while they’re actively working. Many clients like to visit during key milestones such as framing completion, mechanical rough-ins, drywall, and finishing.
iLevel carries Builder’s Risk insurance on every project, which covers the structure during the entire course of construction. Your home is specifically scheduled under our policy for the full contract amount, and that coverage stays in place until the project is completed and your homeowner’s insurance takes over.
Builder’s Risk typically protects against things such as:
• Fire
• Storm damage
• Theft
• Vandalism
• Jobsite damage during construction
Many lenders require the homeowner to carry a Builder’s Risk policy as well.
In our experience this creates dual coverage, which is a good thing. If something unforeseen were to happen during construction, having two policies in place provides additional protection for the project.
Communication is a big part of the iLevel experience.
We keep homeowners informed through several methods including:
• Daily logs through our project management software (typically at least 1–2 per
week, often more)
• Jobsite photos
• Phone calls and Zoom meetings
• 3D scans of the home during construction (especially helpful for out-of-state clients)
The goal is to keep you connected to the project even when you’re not physically on site.
Communication happens consistently throughout the build, with updates happening weekly or as needed depending on the stage of construction.
Some weeks involve more discussion when selections or decisions are required, while other weeks are simply progress updates.
